If this continues the "super complaint" threat (whether real or just a myth - but that's another debate) will not go away but will emerge again later when consumers wake up to the apparently empty promise of Motor Codes.

I would not want to be associated with an institution which itself then becomes a major defendant in the complaint.

It may well be the case that the only reputable garages will be recognised as those who have NOT signed up!
