Motor Codes
As you are aware, when we asked all Service Partners to re-register for the programme, we indicated that we would be adopting the Motor Codes Ltd Code of Practice for Service and Repair as the minimum standard for HSP’s and asked all members to sign-up before the end of March 2010. We believe this Code has established itself as a cost-effective, consumer orientated initiative that has received significant support from many areas of the trade, consumer groups and Government.

To encourage HSP’s to register well before the deadline, we have negotiated a reduced membership and subscription rate, the details of which are attached to this email.

To save any confusion, we would like to re-iterate that we expect all registered HSP’s to have signed-up for the Motor Codes scheme, or an alternative OFT approved Code, by the end of March 2010.
