As I said, your freedom to work as a wage slave & pay your rents are important to the government: more so than, as Cummings pointed out, the actual lives of some "non-economic" old people. The government has no real interest in bullying people in the park (though of course the police are always zealously up for an expansion of their power) and you can still pretty much say what you like and all that will happen will be that you are "ignored to death"...because government control of the media makes such private views largely ineffectual. you didn't answer the question: who pretending? -Anyone who still thinks that this virus is really "like seasonal flu " and the brouhaha is really a big conspiracy to remove your liberties. You sound like those mainstream journalists at the Iraq war -- Aha!, so you agree Saddam was bad. -You've given such a good impression of supporting the governments original ruthless herd immunity cull I suspect you would do that job better than I ever could. |
