On Saturday, with acutely convenient timing to suit the talk of "immunity passports" and the dangers that people might see others freed from the shackles and look to get infected with CV19, and - more importantly - break the solidarity and breast-beating "community spirit" of "dob in your mates" - ..- the WHO declared that 'there is no evidence that people who've had CV19 will have immunity". In fact they didn't declare this exactly, if you looked at what it said on the WHO press release about the different stages of infection and resistance, but this was the message our media chose to stress, to go with the governments' desire to keep the people quiet and non-rebellious. Today, in a brief mention on Al Jazeera news, it was said that "The WHO has reversed its position on immunity and now says that COVID 19 does produce immunity, though they can't say how long it will last, and it may be weaker in some people. I will bet that this revision of their alleged statement will get little publicity, and even be ignored altogether, given a whole narrative has been built about the undesirability of immunity passports and the dangers of people breaking quaratine.
