I didn't say (or mean) they told us anything about lockdown effects. The peaks are telling us that excess deaths suddenly spiked in these countries at the same time as the reported coronavirus deaths spiked. Hence they are not normal deaths - debunking phase one of a significant group of virus-death deniers. I don't know about you but I was presuming this anyway, in the absence of data outside the UK (where it seemed very telling). So your graphs make that point very firmly. Maybe that argument is old hat but it hadn't previously been established by data. "Nevertheless, Willem, I think, is correct, in saying that we need more data" That's kind of meaningless. You haven't defined 'we' or 'need'. And we have most of the data that we are going to get. If you think any of my other statements are wrong you can refer to them directly (if you feel you have to).
