For a start, nobody's denying that there is a pandemic. Secondly, to decide which came out worse of say, Norway and Sweden, you must surely wait till the end as they've had different strategies. Eg, if Norway gets a second wave but Sweden doesn't because of its strategy, then that should count. Thirdly, Tomski's graphs actually show some interesting things already -- that Sweden's peak has already been reached despite no lockdown. It may currently look worse than other scandinavian countries (and that may change still) but it's looking better than many others with stringent lockdowns (Switzerland, France, Belgium, Netherlands). |
