Sweden's death rate per population was five times worse than Norway; and it still looks like it's in exponential growth, whereas Norway isn't: Sweden: cases gradient: 1.2, deaths gradient: 1.1 Norway: cases gradient: 0.8, deaths gradient: 0.5 (Norway wasn't on my table yesterday because it was so low down) I might take some of what you say about lockdown effects on board, if you stopped trying to play down the deaths the knockdown is trying to prevent. Reliance on a 'second wave' theory looks like another roll of the dice - like you've not clocked what these deaths mean, almost like it's a game you want to win. But it looks like another reckless variant on the 'herd immunity' wheeze. If you're seventh worst in the world, of course you point to the worst countries - but there are scores of comparable countries doing a lot better. Why not dig out some serious lockdown data, and get your argument going forward.
