Although I find Walter's analysis useful as a broad brush picture, there are bits missing which would clarify. Two main additions would be the testing regime and the second the under-reporting of C19 deaths, which seems to be about 50 odd % (and taking into account the fact that other causes like not going to the hospital etc.).
