Hi David. I have seen your posts and have tried to locate the test results on the ECU that you say was sent for test via CAMCO. I cannot find any ECU which has been sent with the fault symptoms you describe. If it was sent to us there should be a small sticker on the unit with a booking in reference which I can check for you. However , assuming this ECU is a CAN bus type of ME7.5.10 , these systems have only one relay driven by the ECU which powers up when the crank sensor signal appears. These ECUs have two 5volt supplies , an internal and an external one. The external supply only powers for a few seconds when the ignition is turned on , it then powers down until a crank signal is seen. The sensor values used to start the car are obtained during the few seconds power-up. This means that with ignition on , you will not be able to measure the 5volt supplies from the ECU which most people expect to see. This may explain what you are seeing. Regards
