Cheers for the help so far guys. Had hours on this again todayShaun I have checked all sensor supply lines back to ecm plugs they are all 0.3 ohms apart from pin 71 to ignition amp this line is 8.6 ohms? Alan Yes I can get comms with all other modules (not sure if they are on can though) Yes CAN pins 31 and 32 have wires at ecm they are orange/black,orange/brown respectively. They both have 1.5v with ign on, and when i try to get comms. I have scoped them but there is no signal, tried with ign on and whilst trying comms. The ignition module and coil were fitted by another garage, this just looks like the standard triangular type that clips onto the front of the coil pack as seen on lupos. The ignition module multi plug has no CAN wires to it. The ECM also has a wire at Pin 29 so maybe this system is a hybrid between CAN and a K line. Pin 29 at ECM goes to Pin 7 at immo unit (continuity is 0.3 ohms)Pin 8 of immo unit goes to Pin 7 DLC (continuity is 0.3 ohms) i have removed immo unit and linked Pins 7 and 8 so K line is direct to DLC but stil no comms. (much thanks to Mike Whitworth for the explanation of the wiring diagram here) With immo unit plugged in and comms with immo unit i have scoped Pin 8 of immo unit this has constant digital signal o to 12v. Mike The sticker on the ECM says 26/06. Because i was pretty sure it was an ecm problem i also called you about the test and you or one of your staff were adamant that the ecm tested ok. I'm sorry i don't understand what you are saying about me not seeing the 5v supply's. The Autocom parallel tester i have and autodata pin data show that with ign on i should have 5v supply's from ECM to the sensors ?? You say there is also a 5v internal supply and a external supply where does the external supply come from and to what pin on ecm, i can't locate it from any of my wiring diagrams. Maybe this is what i am missing ? I think i really need the exact wiring diagram from Seat can anyone help me get this. Many thanks to all so far. Rgds Dave
