Thanks all for taking a look. "Come on 30 hours is a very long time to try a find the problem. And if by now he is no closer to finding the root cause then he is not going to do it without wasting more time and Money. Operating like this is going to destroy yourself as a person and your Business" Understand exactly what your saying, but Surely the above quote is from somebody who has been there. I know 30 hours is excessive but within the first two and a half hours i had this down to an ecu and picked up by camco for the atp test. Then when it arrived back with tested ok i began my search for wiring diagrams, programing immo then getting lock guy out to read eprom in immo for security number, pulling the looms etc etc all this i have included in my time. You are right in what your saying Darren i would have been better off shutting the door and going on my hols but it's easy to say in hindsight. But saying that i don't know what I'm doing, well I'm no expert thats for sure but i just can't give up this car i have got to fix just too far in now to turn back. Although I've got to say i came close last night after working to eleven to catch up with the other jobs I'm now so far behind with i got half way home in my 93 525 and it threw the alternator belt off and snatched the head off the water pump Rgds Dave
