if a car has a slight misfire at idle speed wouldn't this increase the CO content and push up the 02 reading (0.7%)and then cause a higher than expected Lambda reading which from the data provided looks slightly towards the weak side which may instruct the ecu to slightly richen up mixture with an end result of CO content of 0.47|% MOT failure. Is this the model that has the sagen coil pack/cassette which are a common failing. I'm certainly no expert but ignition misfire would be worth a look. |
