Typical, just when you think you have learned summat, someone comes along and throws a spanner in the works Surely, CO is the result of incomplete conbustion ! say for example there wasn't enough 02 or too much HC, then combustion would be incomplete - therefore CO would be produced because there isn't enough 02 to bond with the Carbon molecules which would generally produce C02 and H20 if the mixture/combustion was correct. Afterall thats why gas boilers kill people !! isn't it ? when they aren't maintained properly. Regards Dave
