Corbyn is a much a victim as anyone else. He's just a man, propelled by circumstance to a position which he would have never predicted, responsible to a deeply dysfunctional party, a deeply dysfunctional political system, and an increasingly dysfunctional populace, deeply divided by Brexit and browbeaten over years of unprincipled neoliberalism, austerity and worries about the future. He's principled but not able, on his own, to change the world.
He needs support from those that claim that his principles are moral and effective. He gets this from many, many people and organisations. He gets this from many Jewish people, some of whom write letters. I literally cannot fathom the destructive language of vituperation that is coming from some of the contributors to this board in regard to Corbyn. Instead, why not write to Corbyn, nicely but briefly, acknowledging the problems he has, sympathising, and telling him he has your support and asking him to stand firm against this continued coordinated and all-too-effective slander against him and his party.
