I get it that you are pissed off by all the uneccessary apologising, the vacillating, the seeming weakness and cowardice, the lack of direction. So am I. But it's easy to criticise sat behind a computer screen. It's a different thing when you are surrounded by enemies on a daily basis, who you know want to take you down. I guess that feeling that you are 'right' about the almost inevitable failure of the Corbyn Project gives you some kind of compensation for your frustration. And you are probably right. I am surprised it has lasted so long, given what it is up against. The window of opportunity is rapidly closing - if it was ever really open. Maybe trying to change the system from within the system has always been a forlorn hope. Some on the left may welcome this. The hope is it may finally persuade people that change from within is impossible and the only hope is a revolutionary change from without. But is that really likely without things getting a lot worse? And then the (faux) change is more likley to come from the right - much preferred by the elites. At one time perhaps we could have hoped for slow progress, with inevitable setbacks and failures along the way. But I doubt progress is possible any more, giving the imminence of ecological catastrophe and the ever present danger of war turning nuclear.
