Not meant as a compliment. To put it another way, grow up and show some humility and gratitude for our rich religious and philosophical heritage.
If you can't or won't understand any of it, just admit as much. But to cheapen all of it as mere deluded 'comforts' for confused people is the most ignorant, amateur mistake imaginable.
