| There was a time dear hearts when religion and politics were indistinguishable...the lazy-mindedness that allows for the dismissal of all religious doctrine and debate also allows for no past to human history and therefore provides no future..for those of us who have studied theology such is an insulting non-sense but comes as no surprise for when presented with the, "difficult" it is a human tenancy to resort to fundamentalism....eschew those who would have it that we can, "reset the clock" with a Year Zero type approach to the human condition...we will never escape our pasts..none of us... attempts to do so are often pitiful... but nonetheless dangerous for that! |
