I don't think cows farting is a big issue for climate change. The Earth has always be covered with ruminants. I read there are no more ruminants in the USA now than there were before Europeans arrived there and it was teeming with buffalo.
Burning fossil fuels is what's causing climate change.
For me personally, since you expressed an interest, I will tell you that since stopping eating vegetables I'm personally producing a lot less methane. Digestion is one of the many ways my health has improved dramatically since cutting out vegetables. Although admittedly just cutting carbs made the biggest difference.
