"dark thingy is an inherently unworkable imagination game to try to salvage fundamentally-unsalvageable reductive materialism" Sorry Rhis but that is what you are trying to do..you consistently fail to address the consequences of the particle-beam standard model delusion...maybe the term "dark energy" disturbs you but the concept is essential now that we know that the observable universe is continuing to accelerate "away" from itself (always got to me..if the universe is expanding everything must be expanding you, me, the trees everything , but I digress), ...all in the garden is not roses...there is a darkness (some call the attachment to it "evil"), in the universe..factor it in and get over it folks! Sigma and its problems ("lies damn lies etc."), can and must be understood by us all... The planting trees thing...is part of the solution..but we must also utilise our other resources properly too that's all....how does one measure the effect of feeling better 'coz one has visited a pristine natural environment?...One can't it's priceless..
