Yes, but we will be blissfully ignorant in our hopelessness until the planet actually literally burns unless we actually try something logical and positive. So far, we've done absolutely everything but try, we have merely made excuses for 40 years about how trying is so complicated. It isn't. Plant some trees*, and try not to destroy anything even if it means you stand to profit from it. That's a thing just about every westerner has the luxury to strive for. Who knows? It might make no difference. Doing nothing definitely will. Cheers * as a rule, doing anything seemingly positive environmentally that costs nothing is probably a good thing, because it means you're doing what nature might do, but accelerating the process. Since we've accelerated the destruction, this seems only fair. We seem to be caught up in climate change, but environmental preservation will never be at odds with that even if it might not be directly beneficial.
