Ford Fiesta 1.25 2005 - Fault code P2135 Throttle position sensor Archived Message

    Hi All

Strange one this, not sure if my customer is being given the run around or do fault codes clear on their own??

    Story is:

Back in May my customers reports that sometimes he has no throttle response, but intermittent, he brings the vehicle in an using the MODIS we have

P2135 Throttle/Pedal position sensor Switch A/B Voltage Correlation

Customer agrees that we can fit a new throttle switch/potentiometer. Codes cleared and vehicle is fine till this week when intermittently he has no throttle response, so 5 months later the same fault code returns. I did not clear the code this time

As this part was under warranty he agreed to take it to the supplying dealer to have it checked out, if found faulty they agreed to change it under warranty

He took the car in this morning (vehicle played up yesterday afternoon), they have just rang him to say that there are no fault codes present and therefore nothing wrong with the vehicle, but he can leave it with them to drive around for few days

So i am not sure if we are being fobbed off or could this code just cancel itself

    Peter
