Hi All Customer has had the car back a couple of days, spoke to him on the phone a short while ago and according to the invoice they have carried out and replaced: (invoice total £371.00) IDS test Replace Throttle Position Sensor Parts # on invoice "Throttle Kit F1509254" £116.00 I spoke to the parts guy at the Ford dealership where the repair was carried out (helpful guy). The part number did not come up on the system. He went off and spoke to the tech that carried out the repair and apparently he got the part number from Ford and they sent the parts direct. The repair was carried out under the bonnet, so i assume you can replace the Throttle Position Sensor not the whole throttle body So looks like Ford know of this problem and now issue a FIX kit of "Throttle Position Sensor and Connector / Loom" (part number as above) Peter PS: Parts guy was surprised there was no good will on the repair, as it must be known problem by Ford I expect a loss of throttle responce would cause a bit of panic among owners if it become public
