This is one that usually gets confusing, i,e Throttle Position sensor or Pedal position sensor or Even Accelerator position sensor. I think its because we are used to the old systems with 1 x Throttle Position Sensor.

But The Original Codes stated >>> P2135 Throttle/Pedal position sensor Switch A/B Voltage Correlation <<<<<<< Which without having the Correct information leaves you wide open to guessing at the wrong component. ( espescially on someting that only goes wrong once every 5 months )

I have just looked on Some tech info and It States that P2135 is Pedal Position Sensor And Also Throttle Position Sensor. ??

Does it Show Either Description for the same code Because Apart from Comparing the 2 Tracks on Each Sensor it is comparing the readings from Both Senors, And if both Tracks in each sensor are working correctly but the throttle is not opening correctly ( possibly due to being clogged with sludge etc and needs cleaning ) It Just then logs a Fault for them not working in conjunction with each other. ??

What Does IDS Come up with in this Situation. ??

( I Suppose on IDS it gives a description to help with the diagnosis of the code ) ??

    Tony.
