I have just seen this post , I have to say what a poor state of affairs. Sorry Peter.

The responce and actions from the dealers is nothing new , and I would have expected nothing more or nothing less.

First the DTC code is correct and accurate.

P2135 TP sensor circuits 1 and 2 plausibility error.

TP = throttle position i.e butterfly.

So basically inside the throttle body is a twin TPS circuit. This provides the ability to error check the throttle movement. If there is a difference between the two values the DTC Fault will be flagged, and a default mode will be activated. On this application 1 TPS track goes up in volts and TPS track 2 goes down.

thus producing a mirror reversed image of the the butterfly movement. The PCM can now error check the two values.

The throttle body is directly controlled by the PCM and has two throttle position sensors (TPS), TPS 1 and TPS 2.

The sensors output a voltage to the PCM that corresponding to the actual throttle plate position. When the throttle body motor is not being powered up, the throttle plate sits open at approximately 8° from the closed in bore position. This position is also referred to as the default position, this position within the throttle body is maintained by two internal compression return springs acting in opposing directions.

So why as the APPS (accelerator pedal position sensor )been replaced Twice for this fault and DTC ..

Once the wiring has been confirmed OK between PCM and Throttle body , it would be most likely the Throttle body is at fault , and I have personal replaced many for this fault.

Peter get your customer back before he get's to the dealers it will only end up £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££

    HTH
