Hi All The customer drove the car back to me from the dealers and i checked for codes and the same ones were still stored, i cleared the codes and replaced the Throttle peddle assy again at the customers request The customer used the car over the weekend with no problem, he then phoned me this morning as he now has the Electronic Accelerator Control (EAC Fail) light flashing on the dash, the same fault code has also returned, as i drove into workshop it had a woolly throttle responce also notice strong smell from cat After speaking to Mike Whitworth, the customer has now booked the vehicle back into the dealer to see if a ECU re-flash or update may be required, or something more expensive such as a throttle body I have done a bit of searching and the EAC fault does seem fairly common, but no conclusive fixes, even some dealers struggle to fix apparently Will see what happens tomorrow Many thank to Mike for your time Peter
