Oh good God, I had to go nauseate my day by watching that R. Wolff / A. Martin interview. I didn't open it when it was presented in that thread further down, cos like I said, I dislike those people.
And GASP of GASPS, I cannot believe how bad, and how much worse it is than I even imagined!
Right off the top: - Ms. Martin identifies JP as "right wing."
- She refers to the - yes we heard her correctly - so-called moral rot of our society. So-called!?
- Wolff finds it ironic that 'Cultural Marxism' is a derivative of the Nazi term 'Cultural Bolshevism'. (As I said, the Nazis weren't wrong about everything!) But then he fails to see the irony in where the term Political Correctness originates! Oh wait, do I detect a 'quote, unquote' gesture in the tone of his voice when he says evil Bolsheviks?
- Wolff says any perception of a deep malaise in contemporary leftist and liberal thought is a 'nutty hallucination'!
He says this 'nutty hallucination' is used as an excuse to "hate people with whom you disagree with." (!!) His friends at the Ribbon Head Society and the various denominations of the Church of Tolerance, on the other hand, have no hate in them, eh? It's all love, yeah, and 'love is love.' Warring against the norms and customs of the majority, changing common language by fiat, expanding Hate Laws, and pushing experimental sex and sexualization on children isn't hate? Asking the world to revolve around your feelings and victimhood is not hate? Peterson, with all his flaws, does nothing remotely of the kind!
- Ms. Martin smugly derides the CM theory in claiming it "doesn't even come out of Marxism." Wolff naturally agrees, and then disingenuously misrepresents Historical Materialism by claiming Marx only approached it in one direction: out of capitalism comes cultural effects. Wrong! Historical Materialism assumes essential flaws in culture dating back much further (feudalism etc.) and like demented romantics such as Rousseau, falsely identifies certain problems and patterns due to a 2-dimensional dialectic (the missing dimension is consciousness/psychology and its source - God [Ultimate Reality]/Devil [ego]). This naturally leads to a deeply revolutionary world view and war against culture. Of COURSE Marx didn't call himself a Cultural Marxist! It takes an observer to objectively analyze his pathology. Marx, being of a two-dimensional mind, could not see the logical implications and whole of his views.
- Wolff claims that adherents to the CM theory are "afraid" of the "inclusion" of minorities in our society. In other words, in addition to JP being "right wing," he's also a bigot! Mm hmm. In other words, Wolff is poisoned by Marxist dialectics, and fully buys into the "Inclusivity and Diversity" agenda. What does 'inclusivity' mean? Who is 'excluded?' How do we 'include' them? Does the I&D agenda use objective yardsticks, respecting common law & language, or does it use subjective yardsticks while disregarding common law & language for the sake of the subjective feelings of those stewed in Grievance Literature? But Wolff, and Martin, are far too dishonest, and intellectually thin, to take up this topic. They know which side their bread is buttered.
- Oh boy! Then he talks about his love-in at Boise, Idaho with the Ribbon Head Society! Proof enough for me of his shallow intellect and poor tastes.
- "Ha ha smirk smirk," says Martin, "We know how little (JP) has read of Marx." No, L'il Abby, Peterson has read into Marx, whereas lickspittles like you merely read him noddingly.
- Marx's definition of 'exploitation' is rooted in ridiculous naivety and resentment. Turning a profit is as old as the hills. Commerce and trade is as old as the hills. The cost of running an enterprise is not the same as maintaining a friendship or the community. Turning a profit is necessary to maintain the infrastructure and machinery and supplies, not to mention the need for its owner to make a living. In other words, friends and communities can 'break even' but enterprises cannot last a year on it. That is not capitalism, it is simply, and merely, commerce. Like I said, Peterson has done MORE than read Marx, he's read into him. What makes capitalism unique is its industrial-strength production wedded to central banking! Corporatism is central banking wedded to transnationals. Globalism is: crony capitalism for the Rulers and its Elite Guard; Socialism for the rich; Communism for the rest of us. This is the purpose, and marvelous utiility, of the 'Diversity and Inclusion' agenda. It reduces standards, destroys not just democracy but the principle of democracy (majority rule), and causes the people to actively participate in their own division and slavery.
- Hierarchies are intrinsic to Natural Law and to ALL social animals in some form or other. To deny this is beyond naive and quite pathological. Of course, Social Darwinism is a perversion (not falsehood or invention, but perversion) of a Darwinist theory used by oligarchs and monopolists to justify their crimes while blaming their victims. So you see what these deplorable snakes are doing?! They are calling people like me, like JP, etc. Social Darwinists! There is no nuance or adult understanding of the world from these two. There is only ideological score keeping, and they are too blinkered to see how low their true score is!
I truly have the sense that JP's reason for not debating Wolff is for exact similar reasons why Galloway refuses to debate Zionists about Israel.
As I've often stated ad nauseum, I have been observing, wrestling with, analyzing, and revolting against the PC agenda for 30 solid years. I am informed by 3 decades of experience and hard work more than this latest YouTube trend. JP is not, as Wolff says, 'Laughably ignorant.' Rather, it is Wolff who is laughably ignorant, naive, smug, arrogant, dogmatic, dishonest . . .
The infection runs deep and wide, and permeates even this board. Many here seem to think I'M a right-wing, ultra-conservative Christian homophobic extremist . . .
A new reality is not needed. Rather, a renewed clarity is needed to apprehend reality as it is, so that we can respond to it with appropriate wisdom and responsibility.
