No, I take criticism of Peterson as embarrassment for the left (of which I once felt at home and in kinship with). And wait, wait, WAIT! It is not even criticism of Peterson that's happening here! Like I said to Brooks, it's very similar to how Trump and Bannon are handled. The left do NOT criticize these people, they don't even hear them or consider the psychological climate in which they operate. They therefore don't even hear when these individuals actually say or do things of real value!
So Peterson's weaker points (real and assumed, always exaggerated) are pounced on so energetically and mercilessly, to the point that his truly valuable contributions are . . . ignored? WAIT. It's even worse than that! His elements of truth and valuable insights are openly mocked because the hateful scorn of his attackers are so zealous.
This is the truth of what's really happening.
And I suppose I should eat my own medicine and give Wolff a closer hearing (but it's difficult because he is such a painfully obvious caricature of the kind of loud-mouthed, pompous, arrogant card-carrying socialist I've grown to despise and reject.)
