And you can repeat your mantra as often as you like but clearly, well, the vote itself was clearly not a Tory or old man's vote. How could it be when it was a vote for Brexit, and not Tory!? It was perhaps an English vote - and what of it? I have no truck with the Scots' tactical voting to leave the UK (and "remain" in the EU which denied them automatic entry). Good luck to them. Let's say though that "Brexit = right wing reaction" - whatever this may mean. Does this mean the EU project remains healthful, humane, an enlightened progressive, democratic, empowering of members and moreover a project with legs and self-aware, capable of change should this be sought? Yeah. Good one.
