"We continue to believe that Judaism is a religion, not a race or tribe..." All religions are tribal so that solves little. Reminds me of the Glaswegian who went to see the priest about getting married... "As I don't know you..." says the priest "...tell me my lad, are you a good Catholic?" "Course father: I go to see the Celtic every weekend" "No no! says the priest "...I mean do you go to Mass regularly?"
