As indeed the EU Referendum was about choosing our bosses. Or akin to slaves choosing which ankle to have the manacle on, as I said backaways. Why else would the Bosses' Party, that's the Tory Party, be in favour of it? There was never anything for the workers in it. Keith has often referred to it as KICKING the bosses' ass. Might be more aptly described as LICKING the bosses' ass, unfortunately. And to accept/welcome 5 or 10 years of Tory rule in order to get it is serious nonsense. And when I see ex miners out there voting Johnson/Thatcher (there's no difference) it sickens me. I stood beside those miners (probably those very same ones) when they attacked us with their police horses near Downing Street. What was it all about, I wonder? Beginning to seem like a total waste of time, now. Though I'll probably do it again. I'm a damned fool. But what else can one do. And, while I'm here, the EU Referendum was just as fine an example of Tyranny of the Majority as was the General Election. Can't see why any anarchist, in her right mind, would rush to indulge. My own reason for participating was that I felt the people most immediately affected by the outcome - foreign EU citizens, in this country, should have been entitled to vote. The whole thing was a direct attack on them. A couple of million of them. Amazing how we so casually rush to sacrifice others in our search for a better world. That too was ever thus. |
