..it would be immature to suppose that any (so-called), modern democracy is fully so....market penetration alone ensures that....nevertheless..this is not a feudal state neither is it a one party state....admittedly our current situation gives the lie to our pretensions of being in process but response to such also gives the lie to the blandishments of revolutionary opposition...the kind of response that often wishes to create more laws when if we enforced the existing laws properly we could "clear the swamp" (as the saying goes), ..babies and bathwater....how the infants always suffer at the hands of the self-righteous...
