Peole abused if heard speaking a foreign language. Any foreign language. I witnessed an elderly black man being abused at a bus stop in Putney. And nobody gave a damn until I stepped in. Nobody cared where he came from. He was the 'other' and we have this heaven sent opportunity to deal with them.) It has awakened long simmering passions and hatred. Atrocious things like this have gone on for decades, it is continuity, not change. The wonder is that there is so little of it, considering the institutional racism of the British state, its puppet political parties, corp-0-rat media and regime broadcaster. |
