| But they weren't there to fire on them even if they were prepared to (except for a paltry amount of police). Of course i'm not supporting the idea of more harsh policing against protestors, just noticing the difference in police/state action with other recent protests (or not so recent - look at how many soldiers turned up to the poor people's campaign in 68) |
