Remedy:
Internal lab and engine test bench investigation revealed that the usage of not released oil additives will cause
an increased engine oil consumption. In some cases the measured oil consumption has increased by 100%.
Modern Opel engines in combination with high quality engine oil do not need additives. Therefore the
usage of any not Opel released engine oil additive is disapproved. All related warranty claims will
be rejected.
