I switched over to the new system on 12 Aug.I can't say I have carried out a days testing without problems since.Who do you turn to for compensation? After all if your local council or utility company were to dig up the street outside your garage and customers had any issues getting to your premesis which effected turnover they would be liable for the losses incurred. This is a very smart move by the government. No more expensive IT equipment to supply and maintain- And we have purchased the replacement from our own pockets. No engineers running round the country keeping it all running smoothly,it's now our responsibility at our cost. The system isn't fit for purpose but we are doing the beta testing for them and at our cost in lost revenue. The powers that be have or will be saving millions, mainly by passing the cost on to us,which we will complain about but have little choice but to go ahead with it because it's our livelihood at stake.
