Well Ken,
At least we agree on something, namely, the Labour Party ain't labour anymore, its liberal progressive, hence its addiction to neoliberal economic prescriptions - Bill Mitchell being rather good on this for calling McDonnell's economics advisor out on dribbling post-Keynesian economics, the sort the Clinton Pink Pussy Hat Brigade love.
Its a sad fact that the last time I went our canvassing I was the sole representative from the working classes in my neck of the woods in South Wales, not surprising though given most of the PLP is middle class, some 92%, so, throwing away 4 million votes is deemed acceptable. Acceptable to whom I don't know in reality, because if one's loyalty is to a neoliberal organisation in Brussels you ain't socialist, you ain't working class and you ain't British in my humble opinion.
I have no loyalties apart from those born into my culture in my neck of the woods, namely, the South Wales working class, and, we have suffered greatly under the Tories and the liberal progressive alleged Labour Party - some of us had hoped under Corbyn we'd see some radical changes, well, we gets lip service and that's about it.
And, the Remainiacs come 13 December will wonder how the Labour Party lost to the buffoon Johnson, which, even 24 months ago seemed like an impossibility, alas, now it seems like a probability.
I'd be most alarmed if a Party founded for the working class now only attracts 1 in 5 working class voters - still, I'm working class, so who gives a #### as Brussel's is so wonderful my working class peer group in many EU nations also suffers, which is why they've abandoned the faux Left for either the actual Left, or, more alarmingly Rightists selling snake oil.
Hope I'm wrong, but when you trash 4 million voters nothing good comes of it I'm afraid. Oh, and people like me have warned the Party, the same as we warned the Party about capitulating to the Israeli Lobby, the same as we fought for Open Selection, so that in working class areas we may actually get one of our own in as an MP - its not to be I'm afraid and ain't ain't part of a liberal progressive fan club - I'm Labour and would like my bloody Party back!
