The vote was for the people of the U.K. Yes and it was an advisory vote. The Tories then took that advice and legislated for your Brexit but failed several times to get a policy agreed and passed into legislation. I see no need for Labour to hold to advice sought after by and given to a Tory government. "A fair leadership would say, we can't ignore the majority. " But as I have pointed out already, since past January demographically that "majority" is in the grave. "The alternative (Johnson and us big business partnership) is the only other offer to the rest of the U.K. " What did you expect? Brexit is big business on a wrecking mission: a "Shock Doctrine" coup for a small coterie of the wealthy to enrich themselves beyond their dreams at our expense. There was no "Lexit" policy or plan mooted by anyone. |
