Customers having the DPF removed are not being given the whole truth, removing the DPF will not prevent the harmful soot particle entering the atmosphere especially in our cities
What they do not realise is the EGR may also be mapped out or blocked off, so increasing the NOx emissions on top
The whole practice is taking highly efficient modern diesels back into the 1990's for polluting
Detection of removed DPF is going to be hard work, so why not just make the removal and tampering of emissions systems a criminal offence
We are ALL working together to improve how we conduct our businesses and act professionally towards our customers, this practice if not stopped will put our profession back in the "dodgy" category after many years of trying to improve it
