That didn't take long, the A3 has already been booked in at another diagnosticians for repair.

Currently the 5th workshop to take a look at it.

Interestingly I was given only half of the biblical story of this vehicles incredible chequered history.

Parts bill so far:

Injectors
Head Gasket
Turbo
DPF Off - (Not sure where this happened in the parts blunderbus repair system as no receipt for it exists )
Cam Cover
Another Cam Cover due to the first one breaking during fitment
Another Turbo ordered in case the Euro one was faulty - Still in the boot apparently.

Looks like our quote for a new DPF & ECU was a bit expensive, so this was hauled away from us dribbling & farting trying to remember whether it was originally born as an A3 or a Trabant
