Lets not forget that this also gives more amo to the manufacturers case for not giving access codes etc to Independent workshops

The Independents have been remapping, tweaking the software and more recently mapping out DPF's, will the manufactures now start to "lock down" ecus so they cannot be tampered with (some probably are already). We don't want Brussels to come out and say that the Independent market cannot be trusted
