Seriously though, the point was it may be illegal to modify the manufacturers map as this will change the original intended emissions, surely? Just because it is not detectable it does not make it right!!!

I totally agree. I believe DPFs are a poor solution to a problem. I reckon the problems being experienced with DPFs with all the extra miles and fuel used to regen them are probably doing more harm than good to the environment overall.
